Action short based on the Nick Fury comic books. Kern Saxton directed this short written by Everett Kelsey.
Something like this is challenging because of the exaggerated nature of sound fx in action movies, as well as all of the things happening off screen needed to create a believable environment.
Things to keep and eye out for:
- Potatoes as needle punctures. (Thanks Chris)
- My old black leather jacket that I've had since I turned 18 as wrist restrains.
- "Noooooo. I want it to sound like there is dirt falling from the ceiling because of the impact of the bombs on the surface."
- The sound of all of the silverware I had in my apartment crashing to the floor.
- Sound Designer vocal cameo!
These are a mix of library fx (mostly for the BGs) and foley I recorded with found objects around my apartment.
