Cop Shows

Comedy short by the Backeast Brothers.  I had a lot of fun writing the music for this.

 

 

Things to lookout for in the sound design:

  1. Camera shutter sounds that are actually production audio.  (it's odd to me when natural sounds sound synthesized.)
  2. Cop Megaphone ADR
  3. Sound Designer vocal Cameo!

 

This short was really fun to make.  When I spoke with the filmmakers about the concept and doing music in a 70's cop drama style I was overjoyed.  It's always fun to do something that is completely stylized.

This was a quick writing process for the music.  I did a version of it that was cut down in length and content  once we put the sound design and music together.
